I was thinking about putting black and white pictures in the frames next to my bed, but now I really want to find some colorful prints....free ones of course.
I'm currently scouring Graphics Fairy and Botaicus.org, but I haven't come across anything that I love yet.
Any tips on where to find free prints?
http://wordplay.hubpages.com/hub/free-bird-pictures looks like it might be just the ticket.
ReplyDeleteYou could try flickr's creative commons section. I did that for framed prints I wanted to hang in my house.
ReplyDeleteThe room is looking great. Love the colors. Curious as to why you don't center the bed between the two windows.
ReplyDeleteAndrea,
ReplyDeleteIt's been a while since I arranged the furniture and experimented with the floor plan, but I think I remember there being an awkward amount of space on either side of the bed when it was centered. The spaces were too big to look normal empty, but too small to make a sitting area...and we really want a sitting area. Our living room is so small, but our bedroom is big enough to create a little living space just for my husband and me to enjoy.
Try and find a bird calendar - glossy prints for cheap! You only need to cut them out.
ReplyDeleteQuestion: what is the color on the wall here? I love it!
ReplyDeleteThe color on my walls is Benjamin Moore's Glass slipper. I love it too!
ReplyDeleteI have those exact bird prints above my sofa. Mine are vintage postcard replicas. Check out this website: http://www.cavallini.com. They have some nice affordable stuff. Otherwise check out the NYPL Gallery website (http://digitalgallery.nypl.org/nypldigital/explore/dgexplore.cfm?topic=science). They have heaps of nice stuff too. Hope this helps.
