Between getting wrinkles out and ironing the fabric to the no-sew bonding tape, I've been ironing off and on for about an hour and a half.
Ironing is not so exciting, but here's something I am excited about: $4.00 Wal-Mart sheets as the lining of my drapery panels. Twin sheets are 96 inches; the perfect length for practically-as-tall-as-my-ceiling drapes. The cheapest drapery liner I saw yesterday while shopping for fabric was $4.99/yard. My sheets cost less than a third of what I would have paid for drapery liner.
