Weekend Warrior-ing

There are never enough hours in a weekend.  Does time speed up on Saturday and Sunday?  I think so.  I should spend every second of whats left of my precious weekend cleaning my house that looks something like this:

Ok, not quite like that.  I won't be on an episode of hoarders any time soon, but all of the things I put off this past week certainly have left me with a very long to-do list.

In addition to my very messy house I'm also thinking about tackling (or at least beginning):
- drop-cloth drapes
- striped drapes
- book ledges
- brass corners for our TV console
